A song that goes, “I can’t believe that you didn’t know me, man!” has been trending on Twitter in Australia.
Michael Brooks, who has performed alongside the Spice Girls, has been criticised for a joke that went viral on social media.
The song, entitled I can’t Believe You Didn’t Know Me, is about a group of people who go out for a drink and are met by someone who says, “Oh, Michael Brooks.
You’re a spice guy.”
Michael Brooks’ song, which has been popular on social networks, has gone viral.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported on Monday that the song was trending on social sites.
“You guys were right, I can see why you guys were offended,” Michael Brooks said in the song.
“That was my favourite lyric I’ve ever written, it’s got that old-school vibe.”
The song has been shared more than 11,000 times, with more than 100,000 retweets.
It was also the first Australian-language song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“I can understand why people think it’s offensive,” Michael said.
“It’s a joke about sex and drugs, it really is.”
Michael’s song has received hundreds of thousands of retweeys.
