Kai guitarist dies at 33 after four years on Earth

David Axelrod has died at 33, his bandmates have announced.
Axelrods guitarist Andrew Miller and drummer Adam Mitchell died Monday in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Axlrod, who had played with the band in the 1990s, had been diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year and had been on a ventilator since that time.
Axlerrod was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in February.
“It’s hard to express how much we miss him,” the band said in a statement.
“We are truly blessed by his strength, love and love of music.
He will be sorely missed.”
Axel rod guitarist and frontman, Kai, is one of the most prolific and influential acts of all time, but his musical legacy was far from limited to Kai.
Kai is one the most beloved and influential bands in the world, and Axel’s contributions are now widely recognized by a wide range of musicians.
In addition to his band and his own solo projects, Axel has played with numerous musicians, including Nick Cave and Joni Mitchell, and produced and produced his own music.
Axels band of years included the late David Bowie, who played bass and keyboard in Axel Rod’s early days and also was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Axle is the third musician to die in a month.
Last week, British musician Ian Mitchell was killed in the Philippines.
The singer’s death on Sunday in his native Philippines was not immediately confirmed.
