It’s also the story the world has never seen.
Tyrone Smith’s career in the entertainment world started in her native New Zealand when she starred as the role of Ruth on The Wire and was an international star in her home country.
She is an international celebrity for her role in The Wire, a role that was made easier for her by her mother’s tragic passing.

It was followed by roles on such shows as Black-ish and The Bachelor, where she was the second black contestant.
In 1999, Smith was a finalist on Dancing with the Stars and won the show.
She then appeared on The Voice, which she won in 2007.

The first two seasons of Orange, which premiered in 2018, had mixed reviews.
The show, which has an all-female cast, is set in New Jersey, but its creators and stars have a history of being outspoken about issues like police brutality.
Smith’s performance in the Netflix show was praised by critics, and she is widely credited with having a major impact on the show’s success.
In 2017, Smith appeared in an episode of NBC’s popular comedy series Parks and Recreation and received a nomination for Outstand Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series.
